Writing Questions / Re: How do you hype yourself up to write?

I watch/read the source material, but I also talk about ideas with friends. (They must be so tired of hearing about it lolol.) I find that if I'm wanting to work on a project and finding no motivation, talking to friends about it and gushing about what I'm excited to write can sometimes get me right back in the mood to do so.
On occasion, if I'm really eager to get to a good part, I'll draft a scene I'm excited about, but I try not to since I'm Attempting to write in order for the fic I'm currently working on. (Last longfic was written out of order and it got to be a headache, whoops.)
